Having grown up at around 9,000 feet (2,700 meters) in the Snowy Range Mountains of rural Wyoming, skiing was almost a way of life in the winter. Sometimes, it was our only access to our house when a big storm came in and no one had the chance yet to plow the road.

Basically, I was on skis as long as I can remember, both cross country and alpine. About 25 years ago, I switched to telemark but continue to ski alpine and AT to make sure I am up on the latest gear and tech.

For the past five years, I have been working part time with a big retailer, selling gear online. I have helped nearly ten thousand customers, racked up nearly a million dollars in sales, and have maintained a near perfect 5 star rating in that time. And while I have enjoyed returning to retail in the ski industry and my time there, I am ready to branch out on my own and offer even better choice, price, service, and personalized recommendations for my past and future customers.
